Ilgi Ilhoe [Tea Ceremony of the Twelve Months] is a Japanese tea ceremony theory class that explores the meaning of sharing joy between host and guests by creatively reflecting the beauty of each season by organizing tea ceremonies according to the seasons, and the aesthetic value of East Asia where nature and humans are in harmony through tea based on classics.

At the tea party last Lunar New Year, we studied the Gugusohando (九九消寒圖), a tradition of spending winter by counting 81 days from the winter solstice and waiting for spring.

I had a time of feeling the energy of spring by looking at the plum blossoms even in the cold season, and feeling the wisdom and heart of our ancestors who never lost warm hope even in the midst of waiting, while coloring the 81 plum blossoms that my friend had painstakingly drawn with his or her heart, filled with excitement and joy, with whom I have been working for over two years.

I would like to thank Professor Park Jeon-yeol, who taught me deeply in every class, and each and every one of you who worked with me to create such wonderful works.

I hope you start the new year fragrantly, like a plum blossom that has endured the harsh winter and bloomed.
