The works, slowly refined by hand along the natural grain of wood, quietly hold the warmth and passage of time left behind by the seasons.
This exhibition presents diverse wooden craft works embodying the warmth of everyday life, including tea ware, tea scoops, and flower vases crafted from black-and-white ebony. Upon the surfaces revealed through the artist’s hands resides calm depth, while traces of trees that have lived for many years emerge naturally throughout the works.
At Teahouse Hada, where the lingering atmosphere of autumn quietly remains, we invite you to slowly encounter the time shaped together with nature.
