This exhibition introduces white porcelain moon jars and paintings by artist Yoo Tae-geun.
Within the artist’s signature white porcelain series “Bodeumi” resides contemplation on an essential simplicity as fundamental as water and air, and the profound taste hidden within that simplicity.
Restrained forms and luminous white surfaces become fuller through emptiness itself.

During the exhibition, there will be an opportunity to meet artist Tae-geun Yoo over tea. This is a chance to hear stories about white porcelain and blue-and-white porcelain, and learn about appreciating ceramics directly from the artist, while sharing tea. We have prepared a welcome tea that suits the season and the exhibition, along with Korean green tea or yellow tea served in a meditation-friendly "bodeum-i" cup. Afterwards, you can enjoy whisked matcha and wagashi in a bodeum-i. We hope you'll take the time to appreciate and enjoy the artist's work.
We hope this will be a meaningful time where you can communicate with the artist and own your very own bodeum-i cup.
