Teahouse Hada presents the pottery culture imbued with the spirit of three generations of Baeksan-ga, a family that has carried on its legacy for nine generations over 300 years. As the only existing family of potters designated as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, they bring to this space a firmly established tradition and spirit.

Baeksan-ga, which has continued its lineage since the reign of King Yeongjo of Joseon, has fully captured the unique beauty and restrained elegance of Korea in its pottery, embodying the craftsmanship passed down through generations. The vessels, formed by layers of earth, fire, and the touch of hands over time, are imbued with the aesthetic sense and dignity of an era.

This exhibition is an opportunity to encounter the depth of a living cultural heritage, created on a long-standing tradition.
